Life

What is it to preserve a life?
Is a body given a soul
	or is a soul given a body?
Life is given to ants,
		cells, and elephants.
A human life isn't any different.
To prolong life out of sympathy 
		serves no purpose.
Life is valuable, yes.
But when one life takes
		away from others,
It is destroying the very foundation 
	for which life has been given.
My answer is to reap and bear fruit.
When that ability has been denied.
Let the Soul live,
		For the body lives not.
