Year of 1997 - New York Flyby
I was always excited to bring along my camera on the trips from New Jersey to New Hampshire. The flight path takes you straight up the Hudson river. A perfect opportunity for catching the New York City skyline from above.

About as close as you're going to get to the towers on your flight path to Newark airport. Wish it were a better shot.
December 31, 1997 - New York City Skyline
It was around five degrees outside, and a perfect day for taking pictures of New York City. We took the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, and froze our buns off waiting in line to get to the top. The picture to the left was taken during the ferry ride from Jersey City to the first stop Ellis Island.
